You're proud of what Harper does with this country? With the image he gave us?

We're the laughing stock when it comes to ecology.

Harper bought 1940 (frank)ing submarines that were running on Diesel and are now museums. One needed an escort because he couldn't make it here on his own, and the other caught in fire.

We would be better off with a few good ole' Chaloupes Ostie.

Oh and not to mention that this Right wing government is supposed to spend less than the Liberals. In numbers he does, but he lowered the taxes on the buys, and the taxes to the companies, which then reduced his revenues, more than he lowered his dispenses. Which means we're digging the hole deeper and deeper.

Right wing my ass.

Everything he does, besides maybe buying NEW toys for the army, is against my values, and most of his views are in the complete opposite direction of Québec's view, as a whole. Which was showed during the last elections.

- QuebecPride

Sorry just because you don't like what Harper has done, doesn't mean you can't be proud of Canada.

And what are Quebec's views? Well if you look at the PQ, they love to spend money so you won't vote for them. Or are you talking about a minority view of serperation that people have?

The longer Harper stays at the helm, the stronger the separatism movement will be.

Being a separatist, and having a left-mindseft, politically thinking, is two different things.

But I wasn't talking about separatism, but rather the schism that is separating the conservative mindset and the Québécois. I was talking about the fact that Québec, unlike the ROC, didn't give up on the Kyoto agreement.

Québec is one of the leader mondially for the green energy industry. We don't like to hang out with guns. We don't need more jails. We are for the abortion. Because we understand that a women, or a couple, might not always be in the ideal situation financially, or in their lives, to have a baby.

Those are just a few examples of values that we don't necessarily share with the conservatives, who shall I remind you, were the most popular throughout the country.

You're just making stereotypes about the West. And Kyoto was a useless waste of money.

Trying to figure out when Canada became Nazi Germany. As I live in a country run by an actual "dictator" I thought I might chime in. He won, sorry, if you want him gone get it done next time.

I'm not a Harper supporter but the way some people describe him is completly off and uncalled for. And if you go by some of the opinions here, if you vote conservative you're a gun carrying religious freak with no soul.

I'm an atheist, I hate religion, I have a gun, I love abortion, I like socialized medicine, I'm pro gay marriage, I like free market capitalism to a point. If I was in the states I would be shot for being a communist, the Conservative party of Canada isn't conservative, they are in the grand scheme of the word, massive pussies.

Well.. I don't think anyone "loves" abortion, but it's stupid to take that option away from people, to ban something because it defies your own beliefs is arrogant.

I love the option Women should have it without chastisement. Yet in the end, I would vote for Harper, he was easily the best leader at the time. In 4 years? Maybe some new guy comes through, or maybe he is still the best. All I know is that the mistake of Chretien-Martin is still too early or should be to follow any party blindly.
