Don't mention it. - Tee-Dot
But I do find it a bit odd, I mean you are thinking of (with your pants off) a 20 year old guy you talk to on the internet. |

Let's be honest here for a second, Peanut. That's the only reason I talk to you...20 years old, probably not that much body hair yet..unless of course you're a Rick, doubledown or a Prax. |

To quote Foglia, 20 years ago, saying a Canadian would win one of the 3 big events in cyclism (Gyro, Tour de France, and the one in Spain) would be like saying Israël will win the gold medal in Ice hockey. |

Think Hasek will come back? I hope Hasek comes back. If he does, his team is my new #1. |

I don't really see a team taking a chance on him, and if he did play It'd probably hurt his legacy. But Of course I'd love to see him out there flopping around |

Beh, he's been performing well in the lesser leagues. We should trade/send to Hamilton Budaj and sign Hasek. And let him be in the net for 55-60 games. |

Hard to see it happening, the last time he was in the NHL he was the back up to Osgood and left with another cup ring. |

41 games, 2.14 GAA 90.2% 5 SO. Nothing crazy, but not bad by any mean. Rumors are TB and DET, aren't they? He'd be a backup in Detroit, but if I'm Yzerman I might as well give Hasek a shot; his legendary status would probably bring more people in the stands anyway. |

Do they really want to go in to another season with an old goaltender again? I think the Roloson experiment failed and they will grab a younger guy whether it's trade or free angency. Hasek as a back up there? It could happen. |

But Yzerman and Hasek both played in Detroit!!!!!!1! And maybe they'd rather have an mysterious old goaltender than a crappy young goaltender. |

Maybe you're right but when he goes down and can't get up, there may be a problem. |

Still, while Leafs GM Brian Burke has espoused his belief in the talent of James (Real Deal) Reimer — and while the club has been delighted with the performance of Ben Scrivens, who has backstopped the AHL Marlies to the Calder Cup final — it’s expected that both Reimer, 24, and Scrivens, 25, will face bigger-named competition for NHL starts come training camp.
That is all. |
