Hmmmm...JVR for Gardiner is an interesting one, but I think for the moment Gardiner is that potential gem that you might have to break Burke's fingers to get away from him.

He makes a lot of good point...but like most who fight this raise fail to say where the money will come from to offset this loss in revenue and the fact that 8B/yr come from the Feds(ALB). Don't be surprised if you see the transfer to the provinces greatly reduced very soon in order for the Feds to balance their books(and buy those shiny F35's) and reduce the deficit. Social programs are great when you have the money but that will change very soon with the conservatives. It's not like the conservatives really care about Quebec voting NDP.
