I thought we landed in Israël.

It was a shock for me to see that. I wasn't aware there was a such a big community in our very province.

Not sure what "NEAR" means to you - 50 miles?

Here's a shock for you - if they were staying in a hotel, perhaps they weren't from the province in the first place. That said, there is a smaller community than before 1976, when Rene Levesque ruined life as we know it. But it's still around.
