Hard to tell. The young jumpers are hard to project as they come out of nowhere. Personally I'd take Galchenyuk if he's at 3 or dare I say 5, but Teravainen is on his way up and he's better than Forsberg.

the team sucked ass. the only ways to make it better would have crippled them capwise or jettisoned young budding stars. they now have stockpiled enough to make moves going forward. the teams time to actually make moves is now. This is Tambellini's make or break year.

Paraphrased but you get the idea. If you have any questions, feel free. Happy to engage in a discussion without nonsense. I'll try not to post any smily faces. Promise.

My point is that Tambellini has done nothing of note in the past few years, other than draft the #1 ranked player every June, because nobody else had the privilege of drafting before him. The goaltending has been bad. The blueline has been worse. And he did nothing to improve either situation.

It's almost as though he didn't notice or care that they were in last place all the time.

I just don't understand how missing the better part of a year all of a sudden makes him the darling of all the fans.

It's his job to convince free agents to sign there. It's his job to make trades to improve the team. He did neither.
