Well if you don't want to learn french, you're out. This is not a billingual province, it's a Francophone province. You can learn both, but you absolutely have to learn french, it's not even a question.

Canada has laws saying you can be served anywhere in the country in French and English. Quebec is the only province not to respect it.

Oh, i understand very well, and learned 1st hand of their hypocritical laws. Which were made to protect their language and culture, which is fine, although what it really does is boxes them in and insulates them even more from the rest of Canada. Those laws seem to have moved their province backwards in a bad way instead of propelling it forwards into the new millennium.

I have always gotten served in both languages, not that it matters to me, and as bad as my french is they always dusted off that one english menu and brought it to me.
