Well Kept... I am basing my opinion on Ryan Miller. Until he plays out his career the Sabres will not be contenders.......... That means at least 5 years........ Yes he was fantastic the last 2 1/2 months of the season but he showed how fragile his psyche is after the Lucic hit.... If he was playing with a concussion then shame on the Sabres but if not then his mental weakness was evident.....

I am more inclined to think that's he's just an average goaltender who goes thru good spells and goes thru bad spells.

All this "Miller is a headcase" explaination is just an unsubstantiated notion to try and put a reason behind his inconsistent play.

I think we're so conditioned to accept the status quo that to think that big changes could happen sounds foreign. I can't accept that Miller is just going to be here regardless of how he plays. The new ownership is still only 15 months old. We still don't have much to base our speculation on, except the butt-hurt many have because Darcy and Lindy are still here. That can still change too.

If you look at the talent on the Kings and compare it to the Sabres there is a big gap there regardless of if they are the 8 seed or not. The Kings were built well for the playoffs and for whatever reason they stumbled a bit during the regular season. I dont see the comparables between Kings/Sabres.

I agree with you after the Carter trade, that put them over the hump as far as talent, and it showed. Thats kind of why I hate Darcy, When has he ever made bold trades like that to shake things up. Taken a chance on a star player who has had an off year. Look at the teans left, they have all added key compnents that were booted out by other teams. (Richards,Carter, Zidlicky,Ponikarovsky,Rupp,) Not all of them are great players but they find their roles and make it work, Darcy just spends 2nd round picks and they become waste.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that concussions can cause all sorts of different things to happen to a player mentally. It's part of the list of possible symptoms. Depression, acting out of character for that person, and other things like that. Plus, we can't forget that it was his second concussion in 8 months. I think people forget that because the other one happened to fall during the previous season, but they weren't that far apart.

The whole Devils run is crazy IMO. Didnt think they had it in them.

Wasn't saying you should go with a Trail Blazer, just that she didn't have her Santa Fe very long. I like my little car. I put gas in it 2x a month. It's small but it sits higher than a normal car and I have cargo space if I need it.
