Funny, when you look at the top scoring pending UFAs, Parise isn't the top forward or even LW. The Wizard beat him by 8 pts. Also PA Parenteau scored 2 less points than Parise in 2 less games played, giving them both .84 ppg (after rounding.)

Should be interesting to see the disparity in the contracts that each will sign this summer. (Shouldn't have to say it, but I'm not saying that they all bring the same skills to the table.)

Whitney is great. Kind of guy I think Shero loves to target for filling short term winger holes the Penguins usually have.

Finns know the meaning of portion control. Bigger is not always better, especially when it comes to the size of or amount of food on my plate. This goes a long way in explaining why it seemed everyone was in fantastic shape over there. That and a diet of mostly vegetables and the abundance of bicycles as a mode of transportation. That said, the first thing I wanted upon my return was a huge American breakfast with french toast, eggs and bacon. A girl can only deal with pastries and croissants for so long.
