Trade market is going to be very small.. f'n Stastny, Lecavalier, Weiss, and Thornton are the biggest rumored names.

If they end up getting a center capable of playing on one of their top two lines, it might negatively impact Cody Hodgson.

None of those guys do nothing for us, i'd keep Roy over them. It's about time to get a number 1 center, I guess we will see.

If Roy is having a good season (say on pace for 70+ points) looking to get paid the following year, and the Sabres are not in the playoff hunt, then his value will be higher than it is now at the trade deadline.

If he is producing like that and the Sabres are in a playoff position, then I could care less if they let he walk as a UFA without getting anything in return.

I'm having a bad day. Was about to buy a new house, had everything lined up, then find out that we were lied to and were bidding on a house already sold. (frank)ing bullpoop. There goes my dream garage and backyard ice rink.

The only think Derek Roy is guitly of is not sucking enough to get us a good pic and real change around here. And not being good enought to make us a threat in the playoffs. Same could be said for a lot of the slug crew.
