because st louis blues dont even play him and they are stupid
and his stats this season werent the greatest thus will not cost us fortune along with stasny and luongo in the mix up

trust at 6.6 million stasny will be cheap while his stats are just go downhill in colorado, needs change. We need a centerman, give a little bit up with some cap while not selling the farm with our top prospects or 1st rounders will do us good.

luongo they want to get rid of and will this summer, he will had cheaply because of his contract, not how he plays. The two runner ups for him will be tampa bay and us.

and stewart still has good value, but wont cost us an eric johnson, much less than that since st louis didnt even play him much, and obvious they would deal him for an appropiate price which would not be overkill for the leafs

Obviously, you like most leaf fans still don't get it, no other team is lining up to give you their good players for nothing. Burkie rolled Sutter, get over it, not going to happen every deal. Anyways, not only are they not getting either, if they do, they will have to pay much more than the crap I've seen suggested on this thread for the said players.

Nobody is interested in Mac or Army, certainly not as a center piece of a deal to get Stewart or Statsny. It works out for leaf fans, does very little for the other team, in fact less than little.

macs a 40-60 pt player max. He is definitely worth something only getting paid about 3 million. He has value. Armdog of course has no value but is to even out the stasny 6.6 salary since even colorado knows that it is not worth it at the moment. Armdog would be good with downie for a year on the same line.
Maybe not the first trades i said was good but the second one i listed makes up for it most certainly

Macs score 60 pts once, in a career year in TO. Scored 43 points this year, and broke 30 points once in the 5 years before that. Hardly a perennial 60 pt scorer. As per usual you are over valuing and reaching here to justify getting good players for plugs.
