Rozsival at 2 mill is most certainly a pipe dream.
Id prefer a Barret Jackman over a Matt Carle. |

Not really.
The dmen available this summer are all solid, but unspectacular. The roster is currently filled with them. If I'm Tambo, I have marginal interest in only a few, and no interest in the rest.
You do what you can. If all it makes sense to do is add a guy like Moen or Paille, then thats all you do FA wise. - mochoson
Yeah really,
Do it by committee if thats whats presented.
A brad stuart type talent dman would do far more for this team than than a dan paille.
Is this even a question? |

Looking at our defense, I think it makes more sense to add a two way guy like Carle than a more defensive one like Jacan. Only thing is Jackman will probably be cheaper. |

The bottom six really don't have to cost alot, but EDM has no choice at the moment. If Teemu can earn the 3LW next season great, if not, then plenty of options in the FA pool rather dish out $3M at Smyth. |

I'm not arguing that.
Im saying theres more options available with checking forwars then dmen.
Brad Stuart is disgustingly over-rated. The lack of dmen in this UFA class means most are going to be grossly overpaid, something this team doesn't need.
I recognize the needs of this team. You have to address them properly though. |

I'm letting you guys know right now you would absolutely tear Matt Carle apart and hate him after about 10 games. |

Then don't complain when he looks out of place.
I can't believe how little some people have learned over the past 5 years. Throwing more rookies into the lineup isn't the answer. |

I think Hartikainen is very close to being ready. I also have a good feeling about MPS.

You get the proper vets it works. We've done the plugging rookies into the lineup for years, but of course for some reason it would be different next year with a guy that has been passed on the depth chart. |
