It's simply unwise to draft a kid spotted at #5 and who's been injured all year when the kid spotted at #2 should be available and has ZERO risk associated to him.

It's painfully obvious for me to see and i'm sure its the same for the recruiting team, sorry to break your dreams muffin.

Plus it aint like the habs are strong on the wings... or anywhere else, for that matter.

Forsberg will be a 2nd line winger at best...Galchenyuk has the potential to be a top talent. I don't think his injury will be an issue long term. Didn't Hossa have the same injury in his draft year?

Donno where you took this but Forsberg is #2 overall talent in the draft this year and has been compared to Daniel Alfredson and (funny you mention him) Marian Hossa. Hard working 2-way 70-80 pts player. That's first line potential if i ever seen any and definitely worth the habs' pick.

I'm not disagreeing that Galch's a great talent and that he could turn out just as great in the NHL but when you have a choice to make with a high pick you always go for the guy with the best ratio between risk & reward.

I read that Galchenyuk was compared to Hossa skill wise and i have an hard time comparing Forsberg with Alfredsson since they are quite different physically. Where did you read that Forsberg is #2 overall talent? First time i hear it seriously.

If I ran the Pens, I'd have no problem trading Crosby while you can still get a decent return for him...
