Oh my gaude, the persecution they faced while still getting paid millions of dollars...just inhumane.

yes he is amnestied....

FA's are Parise, Garrisson and Moen. Carle resigned to his "cap friendly" deal. Voracek back

Take away Briere, Jagr, Shelley, oh Pronger.

- Just5

not a bad plan.

I'm going to sulk and pout over the next few months, that will surely lead to me being reassigned to the Beverley Hills Police Dept.

Garrison is an intriguing player. He came out of no where. I haven't seen a lot of him. But his numbers are real good. I definitely have an interest there.

Get rid of Carle, and JVR and add Suter, and Gaustad.

- PLindbergh31

need to hang on to JVR, he was hurt all last year it would be a mistake to let him go right now. Gaustad doesn't excite me, he doesn't have very good wheels and his contract demands would be up there. I'd take Carle and Garrisson over Suter. Garrisson has a lethal shot that will injure Rangers next year. Hes strong as hell too.

It's a nice roster but I think it is too close to the cap. A few injuries (non-long term) and the team is screwed.

his advanced numbers are really good. was very effective playing mostly a defensive role last year against good competition. his role was much more offensive this year and he was just as good.

It's not much of an exaggeration.

They're paid millions of dollars a year, for years and years to come. They're well known athletes, have tons of available women at their beck and call ... all while playing a game they've loved since being a kid.

I have no sympathy for them for any criticisms they're received. It comes with the territory.

Plus he has real good size. Played in all situations. Hits and blocks shots. And obviously has a big shot and can score goals from the back end. I don't know what the chances are of him leaving Florida. But I'm interested.

I would hope the Flyers target him. He made something like 600k. Just reading in the Panthers blog seems like he can be had in the 3.5 range. He had impressive numbers last year but not a huge body of work.

tallon would have to be out of his mind to not pay the man, imo, unless their owner is full of it re: spending money to be competitive. odds he hits the market are probably long, unfortunately.

Interesting statement. While it goes against all sportsmanship, if someone started shooting at guys heads.. Come to thnk of it, pitchers will throw at someone just to make a point.

I like Garrison, but you have to figure there will be a long list of teams interested in him.

That number should be under the 69 mil when in season when you account for the reduction in Schenn's salary that would take place. Want to say theres another guy on the roster that will have an actual reduced cap number.

If amnesty is in there. I don't see why they can't put something like that together. They're not going to use it on Briere but one could dream.

That price seems high considering hes had one good season. Dont get Leino'ed. Be careful before dishing out big money.

Vancouver might be eyeing him up. They need more physicality on the blue line. You never know with Florida and how players feel about their situation there.
