Pommer. Ennis. Staff when he found his groove. Vanek usually will get on the scoresheet. Up until this season Roy was doing just fine hes just has a sore spot with everyone.

I would keep him. I think hes a good winger on a second line and seems to have some great chemistry with Ennis at center. If I was the GM there is no way I would break up the Stafford/Ennis/Foligno after how they finished out last year.

Sekera SUCKS. He's fast, THAT'S IT. He constantly has defensive lapses, falls down A LOT. Seriously though watch him. Him and Leino fall at least 3 times a shift. And it's not because he's trying to block shots. He plays scared. He's timid. His shot is very inaccurate and he doesn't know how to clear the zone. He's Dmitri Kalinin 2.0. Those hits Garth showed were the only 2 "big" hits I've ever seen him throw. He epitomizes the Sabres wussyness(if that's a word).

You forget how Hockeybuzz trades work. Just keep piling up your teams crap players/picks/prospects until they equal a superstar from another team.

Yes, I like what he does in the defensive zone, but hes bad in transition and in the offensive zone. Which is why I think Ruff is going to give him 12ish minutes of 5v5 time with around 2-3 minutes of PK time a night. When it comes down to it Ruff loves his puck moving dmen, and theyre going to get the ice time.

Whats funny to is none of that discussion has anything to do with the goal. Winning the Stanley cup. That mentality is all about being labled the "winner" of the offseason or trade dealine. I say we leave that title to the Leafs.

Nash is most likely going to be traded this offseason from Columbus. So trading Roy there doesnt make too much sense.

Also why would you try to move Stafford? Staff/Ennis/Foligno proved to be our best line at the end of last year. Stafford is the only Sabres forward with talent who has the foot speed to keep up with Ennis.
