Could Kane's antics lead to trade?
TheFourthPeriod.com
Although the Blackhawks have not commented on the latest pictures and incidents involving forward Patrick Kane and his extracurricular activities, the Chicago Tribune speculates that the team might be trying to rid itself of its problem child.
Kane was recently allegedly seen choking a woman, being thrown out of a party while intoxicated and passing out at a bar in Madison, Wisconsin.
While management has said nothing on the controversial photos and anecdotes, the Tribune believes that someone at every level of the organization is looking to move Kane.
The 23-year-old, who has been criticized for his immaturity in the past, could have reached his limits with team owner Rocky Wirtz, who has been embarrassed before with the controversial limo photos in Vancouver and Kane's abuse of a senior citizen driving a taxi in Buffalo.
Meanwhile, Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman, most likely unhappy with Kane's recent antics, failed to acquire a legitimate No. 2 center after choosing to hand out the role to Kane. He defended Kane as his legitimate No. 2 center when the Hawks lost in the first round of the post-season.
Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville might also prefer to have Kane on the move, seeing that the forward failed to perform defensively and on the penalty-kill this season, while posting just four assists in the playoffs

Stafford's comments last summer suggested that if Parise had made it to RFA status the Sabres were all in. I wonder if that is still the case?
I still don't know how the dollars and the cap make that possible. Or is it as simple as a front loaded deal? This may be the last round-up for those. - DixonWard
