in slow-motion it looks like he has some time, but not at full speed. he didn't leap, push forward or any of that. he turned his own body and just used his upper arm. if anything, it looked like he let up a bit.

Tough one on Doan. They'll take that into consideration. At least they should. Kings are rolling.

i don't think he'll get anything further. if he does, shanny just needs to retire on the spot.

and the kings are rolling.

I agree. In real time Doan had no chance to hold up.

oh COME ON...that deflection of the front of his boot was NOT a matter of time. if anything, i'm amazed he didn't break his foot again.

Sometimes you need a little luck. Carter is a player that can get hot. When he does, pucks go in for him.

i will have to root for LA if it goes there. i can't, under any circumstances, root for the rangers to win a cup.

I disagree here.

The reason I am not even close to a fan of Frick and Frack is as follows:

We drafted and groomed these guys to be the face of a franchise. The Flyers gave them the chance to be leaders, to be looked up to, and to lead a team. Did they expect them to do this? I think so. Was it unfair? Maybe it was. Regardless, how did these 2 players pay back this franchise and their fans??

Partying and half assing their hockey lives.

As we saw in the Flyers/Debs series....we all said it....losing is fine. People lose. Failing is fine. I'm not ripping these 2 for failing to fulfill their roles or not leading us to a Cup. What is unacceptable, in my eyes, is their apparent disinterest in winning, playing hard, and hustling game in and game out.

I, simply, don't want trash like that in this city, nor do I want them to win. I wish no ill will on them...no injuries, no "blow up the LA Kings"....I just don't want to see them win a Cup.

That's my story and I'm stickin to it, even if it is shortsighted or speculatory.
