I'm not so sure about that actually. The Bruins and Rangers peppered him a lot of the time and he looked solid, calm and poised for the most part. He looks like the real deal. Then again, Jim Carey much?

hundreds of blocked shots in those series, how many juicy rebounds did B's or Rangers get to? He was giving up rebound too, that was frustrating.

this is very simple in my opinion
too many Europeans in Washington. Hunter can't coach the way he coaches to those european stars. They'll only buy in for so long. Look at Beagle,Chimera these are North Americans who played some big time minutes when it counted. Just saying. |

Guess he couldn't get his superstars to commit into putting in a 2 way effort, couldn't get them to use their active sticks, back checking was a must, and they wouldn't commit to his system of hard work and man on man coverage. |

He has never produced in the playoffs...but he did skate harder in these playoffs (with the exception of game 7 in NY) than I can remember. Not all about points. Against Boston he was a big reason the Caps advanced.
