Do you listen to Gilmour's solo stuff?
- tangent_man

Ehh...sort of. Not a connoisseur, by any stretch... I like a few of his solo songs though.

I'm seeing Waters in July in Philly though

I think the Flyers were vastly outplayed. And I think the opponent had a lot to do with the Flyers not playing well. Same as in this game.

Soo...the Devils DID play badly then

VH1 classic had a Gilmour show from 2006 last night, followed by Queen from Wembley in 1986...Jesus, Queen was great live
- Jsaquella

Not sure I've seen the Queen show. Have to look for it.

Palladia always has some good concerts, too.

I guess I need to repeat my opinion. The Rangers are the better team. At least they were tonight. They are better able to match the Devils in board play, and are a much better defensive club then the Flyers were.

Nope. Is it true that the better team in the regular Season games always carries over to the playoffs? I think the Rangers are, and have been the best team in the Eastern Conference all Season. And it won't surprise me to see them win the Cup. And with their ability to check, and block shots, and with Lundqvist in goal. It's not a stretch to believe that they would have beaten the Pens in a playoff series. But we'll never know.
- MJL

Pens were a bad match up for theRangers. Thats partly why Torts called out Crosby - he was expecting to see them later in the playoffs. The last 2 games against the Pens were really played hard by the Rangers. And they got whooped in both.

I hope for the sake of Hockey that LAK wins. If teams start to emulate the Rangers, it will make for horrible hockey ahead.

Queen looked like they were playing to 300K people...it was a huge crowd. Freddie Mercury was amazing.

I agree that the Rangers style of play isn't exactly exciting to watch.

True, but seeing him perform in 1986, at the height of his powers and still in good health, you see the real greatness as a singer and entertainer.

I agree wholeheartedly. It's like watching Gretzky (or Giroux ) play....everyone knows he's one of the best, but it still renders you speechless to watch him!!

Billy Joel too. What a piano player he is. Wow. I think he's better than Elton, just by a little though...

Just messin around with the pic though
