This looks like the Devils team that played in the first round...

It figures that the Devils play like poop, then play their best hockey I've ever seen them play in the second round, and then revert back to poop for round 3.

Only in Philly sports....

(I know it's only game one, but this is still pretty anemic. And if this is any indication, this will be a fairly short series....)

I think it's exactly what we saw in the Flyers/Devils series.

A combination of poopty play on the Devils' part, and great play on the Rangers' part.

I think it's the Rangers are more capable of matching the Devils in puck battles, and are a much better defensive team then the Flyers are.

The only thing detestable about the Rags is that miserable (frank)stick behind their bench. When is the last time the Rangers beat the Flyers in a playoff series anyway? Devils have inflicted far more pain and suffering.

The Devils are playing an ultra-competitive team which is fighting hard, unlike the last team they faced. The only team which would handled the Rangers are the Pens. Rangers should send a gift to Couturier for their cup this year.
