The worst thing was that there was no Center Ice then, so I didn't get to see many Flyers games...but I could get WIP and KYW news on the radio, so I listened to 99% of them.

I respected him for taking the time to collect himself instead of reacting impulsively. Were so quick to judge somebody instead of thinking about the situation and the shock that it must have been. And if he was unhappy in Columbus, I don't blame him one bit. I'd have been unhappy also. Completely understandable. I try to put myself in the same situation, and think about how I would feel. If I blame anyone there, I blame the Agent. That's their job, to keep his client from looking bad. His Agent should have put out a press release with quotes from his client. It was the Summer. There was no urgency to fly out there. Howson, and Nash made a choice to do that. Carter explained very rationally why he reacted the way he did. It was what he needed to do for himself. Who am I to tell another how they should react emotionally. Carter did zero wrong in my opinion.

It figures that the Devils play like poop, then play their best hockey I've ever seen them play in the second round, and then revert back to poop for round 3.

Only in Philly sports....

(I know it's only game one, but this is still pretty anemic. And if this is any indication, this will be a fairly short series....)
