you keep on saying this but dont explain why...youre go to comment is usually, "if you dont know this, i dont know what to tell you"....just tell me how you know what the ripple effect is...if you mean whose name is on the contract, yes it is garths job to get the guy; if youre asking if garth wanted these guys to start, NO it is conceivable (by everyone but you) that garth was pushed into a corner and "forced" to take those guys - LetsGoIsles
Why would Wang tell Snow to go out and spend ten million dollars on THOSE players(why are you having a hard time answering this question)? |

yes or no, you need a certain amount of players to fill a roster? - LetsGoIsles
Come on. Now you are really grasping at straws(do i have to explain to you why?). That money could have been spent on other players to fill the roster. The same amount of money that was spent on THOSE guys! You know you are wrong on this, your posts say it all. As you would say, lets agree on that...
Now, what happened to you answering the other question? You know, the one about who you'd give credit too once the team is successful? |

not at all grasping at straws...its a set up to my next question...had they spent those 10 million on 1 or 2 players they would have been forced to fill out their roster using?? (you say: prospects) thats right!! prospects that would have had to be rushed. but we all know how you feel about nino/baileys development...are you saying you would have preferred rushing another player??
which one is it going to be?? |

Prospects? How about other players in the NHL? How about guys like Prust or Boyle(just an example bcs of the Rangers success)? I'm not saying Richards, or Semin, or Gaborik. There were other decent players that could've been signed or traded for and that money could have been spent on players that might have been good as opposed to knowing they would suck(I'll give him a pass on Reasoner). Why are you bringing up prospects? Besides do you forget about Cizikas, Ulstrom, and Nino who all played considerable amount of games. Gimme a valid point, I don't even want proof. Just give one damn valid, sensible point! I beg you! |

if he is given 10 million and needs 4 players thats 2.5 mill/per player (lets keep this simple)
if he has 10 million and spends it on 2 players...he needs 2 more spots to fill.
so what if cizikas, ulstrom and nino player...they could have brought up and sped up the process for 2 MORE prospects |

Wow I disappear for a few minutes and BAM you are back ripping into people. Lets face it not a lot of people understand the Islanders concept of being the cheapest put together team in the league. WE need to spend at the cap but we use it on guys whom we know wont help this team to save there lives. Snow gives it to his friends. It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen here, but people love him anyway cause he is an Islander and we might as well get used to the fact that until 2015 this team wil not sniff the playoffs and we will ahve the same team year in and year out. I will say Snow ill probably throw a contract to one of the big free agents just for him to turn it down and Snow will say see we tried. Pathetic and sick I tell you. |

No, its the same person who can't make one valid point or answer a question. Don't understand why he can't answer who he would give credit too(wang or Snow)if the team were successful next year? He says he can't blame Snow for the teams failures, wonder who he'd blame for it's success? Seems like a sensible question, right? |

in all fairness, its a retarded question. how could i give credit to something that a) hasnt happened b) cant POSSIBLY happen for at least a year c) havent seen results.
what if tavares has 200 points on the season? why do i have to give credit to snow OR wang? maybe ill give both credit...maybe ill give cappy credit. maybe RDP comes back and has 81 consecutive shutouts....i was avoiding your question bc it was foolish |

You were avoiding my question because you are foolish and that is one thing you should have become aware of today. You say you can't give Snow a bad grade because of Wang. Why is asking the same question if the team had different results foolish? You had no problem saying you couldn't give him a bad grade. You don't answer ANYTHING directly. You want FACTS constantly and provide zero common sense to any of your posts and back up any argument with the most ridiculous retorts. The last one was great, well done. |

The Wangster. See I cant blame Snow for that but I can blame him when they need to get to the cap floor and they are handing out millions to his best friend while he could really be doing his home work and getting guys that are still relevant in the NHL. Lets face it Wang has no clue about hockey knows nothing about players or there skills or nothing. Pretty much all of us guys in here no more then him. That is whty the blame is put on Snow as him and the scouts are supposed to find guys with top skills. That is where I can blame Snow |

I'm not going and giving you those figures, I know the point you are trying to make and its beyond ridiculous. That money could have been allocated anyway Snow wanted and thats the damn point and you know it! You are avoiding it which is what you do but that was the point! |
