He played with Malkin in KHL and his numbers this year def don't reflect his talent...plus he's an excellent 2 way regardless of points...and Army used to be Crosby's linemate
- JIMI-JAMES

I don't care this is the NHL not the KHL. It's a whole different league bud. I'm just not willing to take a stupid risk. And Armstrong has never had over 40 points, he'll never play with Sid again. We have much better options than Armstrong on our top 6.

Defense and goaltending my friend. Forget Staal. Go after Suter. And maybe see if you can pry holtby away from the caps.

Our defense will be fine with a good system. We have the talent to be a good defensive team.

We need a #1c, a power forward, and a goalie....Stall would virtually be 2 of those 3.

Army can't remain healthy and is getting alot of money for little production. I don't give a rats ass if Kulemin was Malkin's brother. He isn't in the same league as Staal regarding being an excellent two-way forwards. 30 goal season down to 7 the next - he didn't even have 30 points this year and you don't think that is cause for concern?

Kuli is definitely not a proven 30 goal scorer...but he's also a lot better than 7 goals.

My guess, he'll end up being a consistent 20-25 goal man....with a solid 2-way game.

Ok your probably right, I dont know too much about the leafs D to be saying anything, I just hate when The next big player hits free agency and everybody drops everything to get him. They dont add the little pieces to help you win..

I't wasn't just him. It was the whole team effort... It sucked. Believe me when we played defense first when we won the cup, he was amazing and made many big saves. Reimer? lol, give me a break.

not really? Kings have been adding little pieces here and there for the past couple years... then they pick up Carter and Richards. That seemed to work out ok.

IMO Carter & Richards impact has been far less than Quick & Brown's...and those guys have been there for a while.

Jack Johnson (before being traded) Jonathan Quick, Drew Doughty, Brown, Kopitar. That does not sound like little peices to me. They developed their team, and did not go out, and throw everything at the next big FA. I fear the leafs will do that, cause ownership want the ticket revenue of a the playoffs. which will screw the team later.

You would think the Habs would be more interested in Staal than Kane.

Just sayin'.....

Which proves that he doesn't stand on his head....he needs a defense first team to thrive.

And Reimer had a bad season....I'm hopeful of a bounceback after his neck/concussion injury....

Ask Sid what that does to you...

Reimer started off great, and after that hit to his head (thank you Gionta), he never regained his form.

Funny thing is Sid was not even in game shape and put up over PPG. Better than any Leaf? Haha
