Alot of flyer fans don't like bryz, is bob really that bad, where you would rather have bryz in net? Not trolling, just wondering. |

Dave Bolland, Nick Hjalmarsson, Shawn Lalonde for Jordan Staal would work well for both teams. |

I think Homer is a very good GM (long term contracts are his Achilles)...The Bryz signing was a good attempt to solve a problem...It didn't work out and now it's time to cut losses and find another net-minder... |

But what I'm asking is... Is bob good? I mean I thought he was your guy.... And who do you ship him off too? Oilers? Leafs? |

Bob is alright...Dump Bryz and find someone else to share duties with Bob... |

I would never do that unless I see Keslers offensive production go up. - PensMalkin71

Kulemin Kadri 1st in 2013 Franson for Staal - MapleLeafs4eva
Right on cue ... so basically, the first in 2013 and either failed prospects or players who have regressed.
There isn't a match for Toronto to get him.

Burke would not take on that length of contract. |

I would take kesler over staal any day of the week. Kesler is closer to winning a selke and is ALOT more proven offensively than staal. I'm not saying staal isn't good because he's a perfect fit for any team, but I can tell you now if someone trades from him they are gonna overpay no doubt |

Do you really think you would get more than that lot for Staal? A guy who has never scored more than 50 points in a season? Don't get me wrong, I feel he is a good player with a great defensive side, but that offer is actually a lot more than I would consider offering up. |

the pens should trade crosby. malkin showed his dominance this season and crosby is a risk with his head exploding. then keep staal. staal can be their no. 2 and they could get a boatload of a return for crosby. and save money too. |

Just making it into the playoffs should not be the GM;s attempts. The goal should be to build a contender, and I do not think Bryz is that goalie. Look at the system he had in Phoenix. Tippet was a defense first coach, and he was not good in the playoffs. |

I agree with you. Even consdering Sid's injury history, they could still pull in a King's ransom for him and considering he is also done at the end of 2013-14, they could shore up some serious prospects/picks and still have a great 2nd line C in Staal. |

I expect a package more than crap on crap on crap ... failed Toronto prospect on regressed Toronto player. He was on pace for a 30-goal season if not for him missing 20 games. His offensive skills are coming. Remember, how old is he? |

Yeah trade Crosby when you can afford him because another player had a good season. Did you listen to yourself before you wrote this? I am not willing to part with Staal for spare parts. I'd prefer to keep him and take my chances of signing him. The kid plays a shutdown role and may have eclipsed 40 goals and 80 points this year had he played a full season. Not to mention he is like 6"5 200 and something pounds and only 23 years old. |
