someone trying to get me stressed out enough to go buy a pack sheesh
- JoeRussomanno

It looks like one of those huge picture warnings folks were trying to get put on packs.

At this time, I'd like to remind all the kiddies here that smoking is a stupid, dumb habit to start. I won't, hoever, be responsible for 'the talk' after the past two pages.

What do you all think about possibly trading our first and nick cousins to move up in draft? Maybe draft a defenseman?

For some reason, the first time I read this my mind saw "he just sipped a bottle of dark beer". Looks like I am ready for the weekend.

Kinda like our company policy of trading for or overpaying for a player after he becomes a star.

I just ask because we seem to be set at foward as far as youth goes.

If they have a waiver option like the NBA did, do you waive Bryzs contract?

EDIT: I like Bryz and think he'll be fine. Im just more concerned with how fine he'll be at age 37

@billmeltzer: Homer on Jagr: "We'd like to have him back but I'm sure a lot of NHL teams would like him." Translation: They won't offer raise.”
- funmaster18

nor should they...that ship has sailed...thanks for the 1 year, but he looked shot at the end

here's a link to Homlgren on Bryz. Very different take than from these edited tidbits and I didn't hear anything about comedy central either.

Edit: Holmgren did say Bryz learned a lot this year and will be better. I expect him to be better as well.

Worry about today. Who knows what the team or league will be like then.

there's been two different 40 year old goalies in the ECF's the past two seasons and one in his mid-late thirties won the cup last year. he'll be fine. If not I think he would be willing to waive his NMC to get out of dodge.

nice to see the video was nothing but goals against in the jersey series. that's not one-sided or anything.

i heard the press conference live. homer definetly referenced comedy central when talking about bryz. it was all good natured though.

Well if we're focusing on today then I would be concerned as Bryz's performance was subpar. I'm like everyone else banking on next year he'll be better adjusted, etc. I think it's an interesting option for a franchise to have. My guess would be they sit on it for another year and re-assess then.
