The writer of this blob.

I don't know which specific Blob but Bill has stated it before.

I don't know any of these players so I can only go by what other write.

Perhaps you should hang out in Wegmans in aisle 6. Well known source of hockey information, but don't tell anyone.

You are king of the straw man. Debating a 6th d-man.

As if adding a 3rd liner is the key to the cup.

I'll throw an egg at the straw man...Why don't you think we need an elite winger? Are you suggesting elite wingers are a hinderance to the cup, and that a 3rd liner has a better impact?

- Daman

I'm not debating a 6th D man. I'm providing some simple facts.

A solid 3rd line Winger that plays well on the puck, and is solid in both ends of the ice would go a long way.

Speaking of straw man arguments. You completely missed the point. The point is that the team has enough skilled forwards, and enough goal scoring. As if I came within light years of suggesting that elite wingers are a hindrance to the Cup. You've badly misread the needs of this team going forward.

Holmgren on Bryz: "his job is to stop picks and help us win games. This isn't Comedy Central."

- OrangeBlack27

She kind of edited that comment by Holmgren. It wasn't nearly so dismissive of Bryz's personality.

Holmer said Bryz needed to find a middle ground where both he and the organization were comfortable, and that he would learn where that is by being here a year getting more acclimated to the way the media covers the team and so forth. He is a funny guy, and he has interesting views on life and how he moves through it, but this isnt comedy central.

The above is also paraphrased, but much closer to what was actually said than Baickers very edited version. Which paints a very different picture of how that exchange went down.

And not to be harsh, but I find you and Bill offensive. If you have a problem with overweight people, fine. Keep it to yourself. But for you and Bill to call them Blobs is outright disgusting. You should both be suspended.

I love Blobs. Blob is used as an affectionate term.

Why is it you assume the worst?

What is with the negative stereotyping of the word Blob?

I'd rather have the Winger on the other side of that line. Shjon Podein.

I didn't take it as dismissive so much as delightfully ironic, what with making a joke about a guy who makes jokes.

Jan Levine, Todd Cordell, and John Torpezer are also worth a mention when it comes to Hockeybuzz, imo.

Homer hints at tinkering the attack system they have. Says goals against reflection of more than just defense and goaltending in this system.

I could see that if Holmer really cared so much about it. I got that the media had made too big a deal out of the whole thing and that Bryz just needed to get used to the difference between here and Phoenix.

I loved his comments about how he knew when to "walk away" when Bryz would get on one of his rolls.
