I don't have to forget it. I don't think it will happen, but it would be ideal.

Voracek isn't a scapegoat. No one player should be, other than Pronger's injury. IMO, he is a top 10 or even 5 player over the past 10 years.

Look at a team like the Rangers. They came from nowhere. They missed the playoffs when we made a cup run. But they have a ton of good young players. Not 12 all stars, but a lot of good young players. Add Gaborik and Richards and boom, best team in the league.

We don't need a Richards - we have centers galore and always have. It is a Gaborik type player that I want...pure scorer, sniper, offensive creator...whatever.

I agree that Kubina may be done as well but I have no way of knowing. He would be nice to have on the power play and as a #6 though. No doubt.

Forget trading Briere, he has made it clear he will NOT wave his NTC.

As a 4th line guy with Wellwood, not a horrible idea. 1 year 1 mil.

I would consider it.

Edit: I see Skip isn't interested in my point of view on this only MJL's.

Flyers already have ten top-9 forwards (without Jagr), plus about 6 candidates for 4th line duty. I don't see the need/fit for Knuble. He also doesn't fit Lava's aggressive forecheck style of play (which requires speed).

Seeing what he is doing on the 4th line for the Caps, I would consider it.

I understand your point and I would think that Homer will go a diff direction.

I guess I am saying that Knuble has shown himself to be a valuable asset to the Caps as a fourth line guy.

Cannot stream at work and the website won't stream on a phone. So any updates on Homer would be welcome. Not that I expect a lot, but maybe some injury updates on who was playing with which body part just stapled on.

bizarre how it began

someone (tim?) fired a question before he even sat down.

i figured he was going to make some sort of opening statement on the season as a whole before the Q&A

Boruk asking about lack of pronger next year if they will go out and get a big guy for the defense..

Homer says july 1 they will look to improve hockey team

Question about G and a captain..
Chris Pronger is still captain and until he is declared unable to play next season he will still be captain.

Would like to have Jagr back, but there are a bunch of teams that will want him as well.

Its going on. Not sure why your not getting it. Business as usual. Flyers will look at ways to improve hockey team, no surprise.

Homer said he still envisions Pronger playing, but that he's looking at the situation with a glass half-full.

Konopka and Rinaldo. Great idea. They can alternate going to the penalty box.

I thought he started to slow down around 3/4 through the season.
