Really!!!
I'm not grading these guys cumulatively, but based on the merits as individuals. - mikeinbuffalo
And a healthy scratch of 25 games gets a passing grade?
Mike, did you fail a single player on this team? Not even one?
Even by your own criteria he should have failed. You said he was suppose to be a top four guy and that he can be a top four guy somewhere else and yet he got benched for a quarter of the season. How does that create a passing grade?
If you want to be optimistic and not fail everybody, fine, don't fail everybody but to say every player on a 26th placed team passed is ludicrous. At least half this team failed. At LEAST! And that's not even comparing them to other players across the league. That's just taking into consideration what they were expected to do and what they actually produced.

Sorry but I had to drop the hammer and dispense some indiscriminate justice. - Unholy_Goalie
Yes, to say that most the players on the team had a passing grade would lead me to believe that the team at least made the playoffs... not be 13th, Or wherever the hell they finished this time.

atleast a realistic fan...just like how MTL would only have 5 passing players aswell...the top line (cole, dd,patches), gorges and price. its nice reading a mod who actually knows a bit about his team
big nasty? nah I dig it, it's just me and Wierdoh have a love hate relationship. Well not really, I'm just erratic in terms of how I feel towards him, on an hour to hour basis

I can see Liles bouncing back, same with Reimer. When you're out with a concussion you can't really do much at all, and even if you can do some gym work, nothing prepares you for full-on game level. Guys like Crosby can come back at a very high level, but even he wasn't at his ultra-high level. I think often it's not even the concussion, it's the conditioning factor that hurt Liles upon his return. He and Reimer'll be gooders next year.
