I don't think it was "brutal". I watched the game, great game! Congrats to you guys but I've seen far worse let go. I've also seen far less get called, that's just the way NHL officiating is!

does he swing his stick head high or not?

stick was swung head high will all the force he had without any regard for any players around him

it's way more brutal than people are thinking of it

this theory that it could have been let go because people hate NY is a bunch crap

- jimbro83

It's ok. Rangers should have picked up a penalty for x-checking in the scrum by the net before Ward smashed Hagelin in the face.

it is clear he did, no one is saying he didnt

but what i believe people are saying is that it warranted 4mins and that is all, it wasnt a forcefull enough swing that would cause injury (other than cosmetic-blood) and it wasnt like he did it intentionally or anything

what was called on the ice is the only thing that should come out of this

yeah, that's fine, but this theory going around that it shouldn't been called at all is absurd

I agree. Clearly it deserved a 4mins for the simple fact Hagelin bled. I can't see why Ward would intentionally do that seeing that a win was less than 30 seconds away.

That theory is indeed absurd. It was clear as day. I hate the Rangers but as a hockey fan, I would have been pissed if that wasn't called

it's just, you know, 1975 getting further and further back in the rear view mirror, that's all

Depends which Flyers team comes out to play... Rinaldo should give us a burst of energy tonight. If any team can come bck from 3-1, its Philly.
Go Flyers!

Filty-delphia is done without Claude tonight.

Bryz is not the answer.

About as absurd as thinking Shanny should look at it.

They don't have nearly the skill level of any of the teams in the playoffs...
- Eklund

It's arguable that the Coyotes have the best d-corps remaining in the playoffs given the way several have stepped-up and then there's Yandle and OEL.

I think NJ closes it out tonight, Brodeur is playing some great hockey right now. Devils are out working the flyer forwards to every puck and winning every battle. NJ wins 4-3 in OT

Tonight's your chance to wrap it up, with no Giroux for the Flyers...but selfishly I want this series to go longer for obvious reasons.

Rinaldo is only slightly less useless than Jody Shelley.
