Rinaldo in for Giroux. That's an even trade
- Jsaquella

I repeat my statement from a few days ago.

If Rinaldo is the answer, I hate the question.

Couturier moved up when G got his concussion and that didn't really work. He's better fitted to focus on defense than offense at this point in his career. Briere is a good option as well as the best one in my opinion.
- NickTheKid87

Briere scares me defensively and especially against the Devils top line. I would be okay with Schenn there also if you dont like Coots.

Good point. I still think his offensive production warrants him being the first line center. Coots line will match up with the Devils top line anyway.

Rinaldo could provide a spark or am I just grasping at straws?
- NickTheKid87

he very well could. As long as he keeps his game simple, which he usually does. I think he definitely could put a charge in the forecheck as long as he stays out of the box.

Probably would have made this line up change regardless of suspension.

You know, this Giroux suspension could go right, or it could go deadly wrong. This could spark the team to pull their heads out of their asses finally. Putting Rinaldo in gives the Flyers a spark. He will be running around out there. He needs to keep his head in control and play tough, but not stupid.

Devils did it without Kovalchuk, why cant we do it without Giroux?
Lets go Flyers!

If any team can come down from 3-1, it's us. Its a matter if they come out and play or not. When this team comes to play, nobody can beat us. This team CAN do it.

While Kovalchuk is a great player, Giroux is better. Also Parise is better than the next best player on the Flyers so that helps. But I hear what you're saying. I think they could win this game convincingly and get Giroux back for Game 6, win that and force a Game 7. Or get wrecked tonight.

Flyers just need to force a Game 7. All bets are off in a game 7. Doesn't matter who won the first 2 games or the last 2. Get it to 7.

The Flyers are known for all this offensive depth that can roll four lines out there so lets get some jam on it tonight fellas.

That's the key right there. Play hard without taking penalties and he can be useful. If he takes penalties it might end the season.

Flyers are also experiencing the negative effects of having a young team. Aside from Schenn, the rookies have been struggling this series. Obviously Coots is hurt but he wasn't putting on a clinic defensively like he was against Pittsburgh. Read has been almost invisible at times. He's feeling the effects of a long season as well as the pressure and intensity of the NHL playoffs.

I want to see more of this guy tonight. His speed makes him a threat and he plays well in both ends. Start rewarding the kid with ice time. Every time he gets a shift I notice him out on the ice.

I think Danny is as good as anyone come playoff time.
The team will either come out storming for G or come out deflated and get whacked. Dear god I hope its the 1st situation.

Totally agree. Idk why he hasn't got more icetime. Id like to see him with a lot o ficetime tonight. He seems to be 1 player that has used his speed this entire series.

You mean after the timeout when they're down 2-0? Because that's a given with this team. It really is unbelievable how they keep digging themselves out of these early holes, and it goes back to the last month of the regular season.

I told my dad "we need to let NJ score first", and he keeps on saying stats are for losers, yet we are 1-5 when we score first, and 4-0, 4-0 when the opposition scores first. That 1 win the entire team was jacked up and there was no way in the world they were losing that game. You could tell from warmups. Im not kidding when I say this: I hope the Devils score first tonight.

If Couturier is healthy. He only played like 7 minutes last game.
