If it wasn't for Bryz these games would be 3 to 4 goal blowouts every game. Bryz has out played Broduer.... open your eyes
- thenighttrain17

Thank you for shutting up the idiot you're not going to win a series having 16 shots a game

Great to see Bryzgalov get outshined by a 40 year old.
- NJFlyersFan

But you have Bryz locked up for soooo long. Itll be great seeing him develop into a great goalie. Hes what 24/25 years old.....oh....hes 31.....well I mean he can always get better.

We can all take solace that when Brodeur retires, this team will be horrible for decades :-).
- pinemind

They will get Lou if Marty retires and bernier if he doesn't.

I expected more desperation the entire series.
- eayost

I know, but now I'd expect the Flyers to be all over the ice, but it looks like they are going through ther motions.

Ha. Sounds like another fan base reminding us we signed a player for too much money for too long.

Exactly why i said not because of that penalty . The Flyers have no patience developing players throughout their recent history, I hope they don't, because i think he could become a 60 point a year player but who knows
- thenighttrain17

JVR:

1. Waited 2 years to "develop" in New Hampshire
....

Voracheck

1. Played with Columbus and still put up better number than JVR, every year.

All in all as of right now next season he becomes our 2nd highest payed forward..... but he's still developing.

Then why didn't he win? If he outplayed him, then that means he won the game.
- NJFlyersFan

You are clearly not a knowledgable fan. It is not worth arguing about but if the rest of the team showed up and managed more than 20 shots a game, they would have won this series. Also, the defensive zone coverage was horrendous and most of the goals could not be blamed on Bryz

Gents, i know how infuriating a playoff loss can be, and as such im going to walk away. Good season, and i look forward to more battles next season.

One bad bounce, and the Panthers were the Flyers prey, or vice versa.
