Philly's best game of the series. If NJ doesn't put on their skating shoes, i think Philly ties and/or overtakes them in the third. You guys are like that buoyant turd that one experiences after eating an entire wicker basket. Flush and flush, that submarine will remain.

Not better than game 1, not even close.

Yep, just like last game where they didn't call anything on NJ after the midpoint of the first period.
- shonoff95

Probably rigging the series so they can benefit from our massive fan base and the tv ratings a NJ conference final will bring.

Doesn't look like they are going to call another penalty on NJ for the rest of the game ... and yet some Phantom calls against the Flyers ... what exactly did Hartnell do there to get a high sticking call? His stick was at his waist and got knocked out of his hands.
- Cable2k

They showed a better replay where it occurred earlier in that sequence. He caught the guy on the side of the head.

It absolutely was. I've seen the replay numerous times. Timonen turned a routine play into a goal. Sending the puck back to your Goalie with a forechecker right on him, is not a routine play.
- MJL

Unbelievable. Some people just refuse to admit when they're wrong even when outnumbered 10:1.

No he didn't. He had plenty of time & def more time than Timonen.
- shonoff95

No he didn't. You can see how awkward Bryzgalov was having to stop the puck and then try and play it out. It's a huge difference between a defenseman who is used to handling the puck under pressure, and a Goalie who doesn't handle it well at all. Just a bad decision by Timonen.

Was there too many words over three letters for you to understand? It was a legit question.

Good thing Rinaldos big hit is winning this game and at the same time his really bright penalty should earn a goal or two.

It's debatable. You guys have spent more time in our defensive zone tonight than you have in the past 3 games combined.

More like trying to put them on the biggest stage so people in central and north Jersey will start caring.

This is it fellas. One period of hockey to get it done. We either go out there and dominate on the scoreboard or we spend the summer thinking about "what if"...

I literally have no idea who is in the system with Adirondack. I disagree with bringing Rinaldo up unless he is the most skilled guy down there.

We've won 3 cups and had a fourth final appearance. If people in NJ don't care by now, they probably never will. I think we need to add topless ice girls. People in NJ love the boobies.

I know you are not serious, but the people claiming consiparcy against the Flyers if funny, especially since the Flyers are owned by NBC and the Devils aren't appealing at all to the overall aspect of fan base size and market.

Really? How about Schenn and Cooter in round 1? Multiple times for Cooter.
- nhindian

Ummm, you mean when Neal jumped into Coots's face & laid him out with the late hit to the head and Coots missed several minutes of the game? Completely not what I'm talking about. I said acting like you're hurt then coming back out 30 seconds later either on the resulting PP or not missing your next shift.

Oh the effort is there today. If any one of JVR, Jagr, Hartnell show up, we may even tie it.

One of those ones you see the african tribes people carrying on their head with a bushel of fruit overflowing over the top. 18" tall. Circumference of a basketball.

And I don't think Wayne was speaking of the basket's contents, but the basket itself.

Lots of fiber.

He's had a few big hits, real good energy. Rinaldo is actually a pretty good player for what he is and is nowhere near as dirty or goonish as his reputation.

And the Flyers really don't have much left in the depth charts.

And yes, way too many words over 3 letters...let's cut back on that.

He could have swept it behind the net, covered with the glove, or played it to the other side AWAY from the forechecker. He had enough time to do any one of those options but didn't. It was a stupid play by Bryzgalov.

Besides being down a goal, I think the Flyers are playing a much better game then the last 3. I think the Flyers make a push in the 3rd period.
