I disagree. Timonen put Bryzgalov in a very bad spot there. By that statement your expecting Bryzgalov to be able to cover up the 5 hole in that situation? Seriously.
- MJL

It's all on Bryz. Let's hope he doesn't do it again. He needs to collect himself.

We should just start to blame Bryzgalov for the entire season.

He had to make a split second decision.
- MJL

Do you even know what split second is? He had at least three seconds, and that's being light.

Were you watching the CBC feed here in Canada? Because it was clear. Not sure what NBC showed if that is what you were watching. Galley was pointing it out. Even the angle that CBC was showing live had me yelling at the TV OFFSIDE!

But whatever, Flyers need to overcome. Tough calls happen all the time.

I'm sure it was offsides. All I'm saying is that in real time, it was a tough call.

Yup agree. There just seemed to be some debate, I was trying to offer what was perhaps a different vantage point from the Frozen Tundra.

He could of done that. But he was put in a bad spot. Timonen is the cause of the play. Timonen turned a routine play into a goal.
- MJL

Bryzgalov had the puck on his forehand for at least 3 seconds and only one Devil in the offensive zone. It wasn't a split second decision. That is a ton of time. It was not a split second decision Bryz had to make. Take a look at the replay. Sorry. Bryz doesn't get a mulligan anytime he has to play the puck and has time.

If he passes the puck as soon as he gains control of the puck the devils player isn't within 10 feet of him and there's no chance of the deflection. It required no great deal of stick handling. Bryzgalov turned a routine play into a goal.

Gionta shouldn't be able to bump Mez off the puck, especially that easily. He's probably less than 50% out there.

Yup. How anybody can try to deflect that epic flub from being Bryz's responsibility is baffling.

Exactly, and the ref doesn't have a slow motion look.

Flyers need to stop trying to play-make in the O-zone. Keep it simple, since it's clear they can't cycle like NJ. Shots to the net and overload.

Thank you pipe for a big save.

Big hit from Rino again.

Time to score on the PP.

More of an optical illusion because that guy had his leg up in the air while skating along the blue line.
