Ya, they made a great run. But I would like to shoot for better than the team that has to make a run at the end of the year to get into the playoffs. - Rally_Shots
Before the year started I thought they would be one of the most dangerous teams this year. The year prior they were playing great hockey as well. They added some nice pieces but it never clicked for them until after the all-star break. By the time they got rolling it was too late.
In the corners and along the walls I would like to see more want for the puck.
Not knocking him at all, he is young and will only continue to fill out in size and strength. - ggunky
Hmm I thought that was one of the stronger parts of his game. I'll have to watch him more closely tonight.

it is, but he's been awful at both ends of the ice in that regard during this series. He can't make a single breakout play in his own zone and is getting outbattled.

I thought they were going to be good too at the beginning of the year. They even got out to a good 10-5 start, but then played awful for the following 3 months before picking it back up. Sad to think that we couldve gotten a top 5 pick if we wouldve just kept losing.
Disappointing finish could prompt Ryan Suter to consider leaving Nashville. The thought process is that if the Preds appear to be a team on cusp of being a true Stanley Cup contender for the next few seasons, then Suter might stay. However, it has been two straight second-round exits for a franchise that has yet to appear in the Western Conference Final. Also, is there enough money to go around for Suter and Shea Weber with GM David Poile & Co. still being able to address other needs? That question leads to the argument that Detroit could be a more "stable" home for Suter.

Nashville ousted the mighty Red Wings and got beaten by a red-hot goaltender. Not the time to blow it up, but would understand if Suter left for a more lucrative contract.

You never want to tank on purpose though. Buffalo has a strong team I just think things didnt go their way early on but they will be back in the playoffs next year imo.

Yup. I just think with all the money Detroit will have to spend it will be hard for Suter to turn it down. Plus Detroit is definately a cup contender every single year.

If Sutter goes to Detriot that would be ridiculous. Would make a good replacement for Lindstrom if he retires
for once i would love to see a trap game but my guess is that the Flyers will be called for at least 1 or 2 interference calls from all the flopping the Devils will be doing.

I doubt with the pedigree that Detroit has, and the money they have to spend, that the Flyers will be able to sign him... But I'm kind of glad. I don't think Suter is worth all the money he is about to get. The only plus the Flyers have on thier side is the Eastern Conference travel schedule, and a semi nicer city.
