Richards was all over Kesler in round 1, and has potted a decent amount of goals too - Rally_Shots
So what moves are you looking forward to in Buffalo? Not being smart either. Whats the word there? What area are they looking to improve this offseason?
Also a little surprised with Wayne Simmonds. I didn't expect him to score as he is pretty streaky that way, but I thought he would have been much better in the scrums and along the walls getting puck possession. He was a beast there all season. It makes me wonder if he is playing hurt. - Marc D
From a long winded post a few pages back:
I would love to see Simmonds get his groove back. His great hockey sense has just been off since early in the Penguins series. In particular, on the fore-check, his pursuit angles are off just enough so that a majority of the time he has been on the wrong side of the direction of the puck (coming in to the left of a Devil when that player is already positioned to move the puck to the right).
I want to believe that this team can mount a comeback, however, I just don't see it. This isn't Boston 2010. There isn't a rookie goalie about to choke. Injuries aren't mounting up for the competition. They had a great season that no one could have expected. The division was the best in sports. I tip my hat to NJ. I will be cheering and hoping. But, in the end, I will not hold my breath. Bryz is the man though. - Deasr1
?? They only lost Krejci against us and we got Gags back -- I wouldn't say that's mounting up.

you think he is playing hurt, or just pressing and making bad decisions?

WIP said this morning the Devils just turned over 200 tickets for tonights game. Guess they want the "Well" to look like thier arena... Anyway the Flyers have extra tickets now, so call or go to website. - RooNosHockey
that makes me feel better. I am worried there'll be too many Devils fans there tonight because Flyers fans may bag it and Devils fans want to be there for a clincher. So I'll just hope that Flyers fans fill those seats and don't give up theirs. Don't give up the ship. No handshake tonight!
Not sure if this has been debated yet as I haven't had a chance to to look at all posts, but if Giroux gets a game for a hit to the head which I guess is warranted how does Malkin get away with 3 deliberate hits to the head in the Philly Series and actually concusses on player and puts him out of the series not even get a call from Shanahan. That one absolutely baffles me. If he is setting an example with Giroux by stating that Superstars will have no special treatment, then so be it but he better remain consistent with this when a Ranger or Bruin do something that warrants a suspension.
On another note, does anyone else think it was kind of funny that Voracek skated over to Zubrus as he was flailing away on the ice to say something to him. I wish I knew what that was!

You will be at the game tonight? What kind of shirts are they giving out, if any?

If I wasn't cash strapped I'd go. gotta keep the faith and stay positive, being negative increases one's chances for heart attack.

Honestly I have no idea whats going to happen this offseason. Some think we may try to get that first overall pick from the Oilers. Many think were going to try to move Roy at the draft. Ruff/Darcy said something at the end of the season that we have to be tougher to play against, which would imply getting bigger grittier players. All in all, its hard to know what the new ownership is going to do with all that went on last offseason.

I like Simmonds. Seems like a great team guy with a decent amount of skill.

Buffalo was playing much better at the end of the year but the start to the season really did them in this year.

A mixture of the last two, heavier on the decision making. However, one feeds off of the other.
Physically, he has looked fine.
