caps are rivaling the flyers in failed oddman rushes.
- hammarby31

Yup. At least 3 that they haven't gotten a shot on. If the Rags tie this game, they will rue the day they didn't convert.

I'm very happy that the Rangers are losing. Couldn't happen to a better team and coach.
- stveshdy

Im not sure where all this disdain for the Rangers squad comes from. I get the coach from Tampa, even if his style is Lava-like.

They beat us 6 times this year...I have more of a problem with the flyers for that.

Avery is gone. Not a single guy on that team I have a problem with. I like the young D-core. I love Callahan.

I get that they're a rival. But their nowhere near the Pens. After this series we have a problem with the Devils now.

Very true. Holtby looks good, but it's too early to call him a franchise guy, if I had to bet, I would say he will be though.
- PLindbergh31

i'm not ready to tag him a franchise guy yet, but he's got a ton of potential, and i like what i see.

Lets ask Panaccio. He has the Flyers out already. They didnt even play Game 5. Flyers may ask the league if they can just forfeit.

think about what he did in the boston series. literally coming off the bench to fill in for an injured boucher in his first game back after a 2 month high ankle injury absence, with them facing elimination, and pulled off only the 3rd 3-0 deficit comeback in nhl history. i'll always have a soft spot for him, despite his less than stellar finals performance.
- hammarby31

It was unreal what he did. I think the team kinda bailed him out in game 7, he wasn't good in that game, but that's how a team sports works. Guys pick guys up.

I think that is what will happen tomorrow night, guys are going to pick Giroux up. His season can't end in the press box.

he wasn't good in the first period, no question, but he shut the door after that. he gives up another one and it's over.

i believe the flyers will come to play tomorrow.

all holtby had to do was stay where he was. he reaches for it and completely turns his body out of the net. probably would have been better off staying deeper, too. tough break for him. made some tremendous stops there.

Wow, quite a battle in NY. Of course, the Rangers should have been penalized on the scrum before the Ward high-stick. X-Checking on Alzner next to the net which helped get a good shot on goal.

I know it. I didn't live the 70's though. For me its the Devils and the Penguins. There hasn't been a peep from the Rangers since.......'97? When they weren't a real threat anyway
