I love how the sixers guards in successive trips shot a brick and an air ball

I'd watch, but I don't get the Prison Sports Network. Basketball is the worst.

Scares me to say it, but the Sabres I think could get a deal done with the Oilers. I think they are one of the few teams with the defensive prospects and 2 first round picks that could intrigue Edmonton.

Islanders aren't trading Moulson or Hamonic + to move up 3 spots in the draft. Yes, Yakupov is the clear-cut best player, but losing a huge chunk of our established core isn't worth the slight bump in skill Yakupov has over anyone available at #4.

Just has the exact same pp/g coming out of junior as that slouch Stamkos is all..

With better international #'s...

Ya, but trading say Ryan Murray who will be unreal someday aswell along with matt moulson is a but much i think.

Don't see it happening without a roster player on their top 3 lines or Strome going the other way.

nino + 4th for the 1st overall, would that be a decent deal? Overpayment by the isles but they will have to overpay to get the 1st

That would be interesting... Yakupov would be sick beside Tavares. Can't even begin to think what that would cost.
- Boosinicka

Strome and the 4th pick for the 1st and Musil or another, lower-tier D prospect could be a solid deal. EDM gets Strome as their long-term 2C and their pick of Murray/Dumba to solve their D worries. Islanders get Yakupov to play with JT and a depth d-man. That could work for both sides.

And so are the rest of the teams in the top 5. Its the Oilers' duty to listen to trade proposals. Nothing to see here

They're picking at 4. And I could live with it being any Islander not named Tavares or Hamonic, although I wouldn't be crazy about trading Moulson.
- PeteM

I wouldn't do it. A LW, in his prime, with 3 straight 30 goal seasons? They don't grow on trees. It's not like they'd be getting Crosby or Ovechkin. Yakupov has already had multiple concussions. I'd like to trade up, but not if the cost is prohibitive.

I'd be OK with it. I'd rather move Nino over Strome.

Edmonton does not need forwards , go take a look at their roster.
- VANTEL

They're all prospects. Moulson is a guy who has had 97 goals in the last 3 years. EDM could use that, but the Isles wouldn't deal Moulson or Hamonic to move up three spots. They'd just as soon stay at 4.

I think Strome and Musil should be added in by each team and its a fair deal. Strome and Murray/Dumba for Yakupov and Musil. That's a good deal for both sides.

Indeed, could be anyone between Dumba, Trouba, and Reinhart (Edmonton itself is in love with that kid). I believe as well CBJ would take Murray... Galchenyuk ahas a strong possibility as well tho.

Personally i think Edm should draft Yakupov and trade Hemsky for a D-man.

I don't think Gally falls to 5. I'm hoping, if he's available at 4, the Isles scoop him. We need D but I think he has elite talent and is only a question because he missed the entire season.
