I'm sorry that my opinion matched that with the panelists on HNIC and the panelists over at TSN.

None of them have Hall "on the bubble".

For some reason this really bugs the crap out of you. And it's rather funny how you're taking your little temper tantrum out on me.

On Sunday, TSN Hockey Insiders Darren Dreger and Bob McKenzie revealed their projected list of players who will be named to the Canadian Olympic hockey team on Tuesday based on information that they have right now.

The pair also spoke to how P.K. Subban might deal with a reduced role on the team, the make-up of the Canadian defence and whether or not players currently on the fringes - like forwards Chris Kunitz and Martin St. Louis will make the squad.

Hockey Canada announces its men's team for the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games on Tuesday. You can catch full coverage live on TSN, TSN Radio and TSN.ca at 10am et/7am pt.

Why not Spezza? Have you finally admitted he's nowhere near good enough? Not even fighting for a spot???

Spezza has not yet recovered from his off season injury treatment and more recently a hip flexor injury. His play so far this season would not have attracted any attention of team Canada management.

If you're not mad, why do you keep whining on the fact that Hall is probably no where near making the team, and was probably just invited to the ball hockey summer camp because he may very well be in the mix four years from now, and that's it.

Also, your continual use of insults and profanity proves you're streaming over the fact that I may be proven correct when the team is announced tomorrow and Hall is nowhere to be seen or heard of.

I know it stings that the Oilers are playing at a .367 P% rate, 29th overall in the NHL and looking like they'll have the best chance at winning the Entry draft lottery, and the slim chance ( in your mind) that Hall was going to Sochi leaves very little to look forward to, until the draft lottery.

I'm not astonished at your childishness.

And yet on October 30, a month into the season, you posted that he was in the top 15 or so players on the depth chart. That those players you posted would be ahead if anyone not posted.

Are you retracting that, and admitting you posted a stupid comment?

You misunderstood, I posted a list of players, in my opinion that were higher on the depth chart than Hall was.

Hindsight is 20 20, so you can spin it anyway you want but some of those players may be selected over Hall, but for the reasons I've already stated Spezza will not be one of them.

your attempting to blast the oilers to somehow get back at me for eviscerating you for the millionth time

first you attempted to call someone out for bad grammar/spelling, now you've resorted to saying the oilers aren't good.
white flag or what??!!!

you want so badly to try and make this about being a homer, which in your world might help your cause out.
but he isn't even on my team canada. and I can promise you those leaf, bruin etc fans that also think you're an idiot have no love for hall either.

and trying to justify your laughably stupid argument with what is nothing more than conjecture doesnt further your point in any way shape or form.

he got invited to camp. he was top ten in scoring last year. he was a league leader before his injury. shortly after his return he was more than a ppg player again which would've put him back in the top ten. these are the facts. and all of these combined equal said player having a shot at making the team whether you like it or not.
and all your stupid nonsense pertaining to 'next Olympics, spezza, your list' etc etc are meaningless and pure conjecture.
and even more so after you've proven your lack of knowledge and understanding on the subject

taylor hall had an absolutely reasonable and solid shot to make team Canada at the start of the season. a month into the season and even into December after he returned from his injury he did again.
in fact, regardless of whether he gets picked or not, he's still a possibility until tomorrow!!

even though most of us have looked at you as nothing more than a punching bag instead of someone to actually have a rational discussion with; you can take solace in the fact that you're at least good for making us all laugh...

Poor Oilers fan, can't accept that one of his team's players, who he may have overrated, is not being considered for the Olympics.

Stop Whining, there are lots of players that could be on the team, but will not get selected this morning.

At least you can look forward to the draft lottery again.

Note I said "right now.

And I'm not convinced Price is going to be an elite goalie at all. He's not that young anymore, and still hasn't shown he belongs anywhere near that group.

- prock

Price. He's proven he can be a decent goalie. Hasn't proven he's anything more than decent. I would hope for better than both, ideally.
- prock

If you ask ANY non-Habs fan, if their team was gunning for a cup this year, who would they put in net if they had the choice, between Price and Miller, and 9 times out of 10, you’ll get Miller as an answer.
- prock

So I guess you're going to be surprised in about a half an hour?

BTW Price will be 27 this coming August......guess he'll be applying for OAS soon eh?

nope. Canada's goaltending group is terrible. Price is having a good year. He'll be there. He's still not elite at this point, as far as I'm concerned.

I stated my opinion that Hall was not seriously in contention for a spot on the team. He is not on anyone's list from TSN or HNIC either.

Let's see what the list looks like in less than a half an hour form now.

So far only two Senators that I know of are headed to the Olympics.................fewer the better as far as I'm concerned.
