I went through a period of time when I brewed and bottled my own beer and wine. I tried one of those dark lagers one time. I drank 4 of them one night and puked my (frank)ing brains out. Not sure if it was the beer or the flu. To this day, I cannot drink any beer that is remotely bitter

I hate bitter beer, and yeah i made my own beer for years too, and nothing in a bottle comes close to being as good to what i made. The first drunk on it was always a massive hangover, but after that you could drink a ton of it and be fine the next day, just that first drunk on it...
