I would give him maybe 2 mil more than Halak got. So call it 6 per for 6 or 7 years, that's about it.
- pete26

5 years 5mil per season is what i would give him.

Like him or not, the guy has always been clutch. Besides, i think that if any player is the only one to score on a goalie during a game, he should be in the shootout. He also went 7-12 career in the shootout.

So...if Hal Gill scores a goal during a game, you would put him in a shootout?

Please Howard, don't compare Hal Gill offensive skills with a guy who's had close to 900 career points.

I don't mind the Bourque idea.

Roy, please God, no.

Who the (frank) is Benoit Groulx?

Most succesful coach in the Québec Junior Major Hockey League ever.

He coached a year in the AHL and resigned after it, because he didn't like the atmosphere.

Coached Giroux, Talbot, Tye McGinn, David Krejci notably.

Sure, but if he said I want 6 or I'm signing a 1 year contract, they would likely give it to him. So, ya 5-6 we are all pretty close. Except for that crazy monkey that wants to give him 8.3.

I think it's a bit different. Let's take a look at team Canada right now at the worlds. If Burrows is the only Canadian to score in a 1-1 draw, i'd put him in the shootout despite there being much more talented guys on the squad.

They better soon this year because that Carter deal may cost them another core piece when Quick's contract is up.

That was my logic at the time with Linden. First shooter at the worlds HAS to be Eberle though. That guy is as clutch as they come.

I don't think it will be that much of a problem, considering Stoll and Penner are UFAs.
