"With the 20th overall pick, the Canadiens are proud to select, David Fischer"

...and every one starts laughing and hugging each other. "HAHAHA, THEY DRAFTED THE IDIOT"

And right after Fischer?
- mr.peanut

Fischer never made it. He was awful. Terrible pick. Difference is, you people drool over Phaneuf, and he is simply not that good. He's also Andrei Kostytsin dumb.

If people can't figure out he's doing what he's doing to get a rise out of them, well...

According to RDS, Dave Tallon was the Habs 1st choice....Florida said no.
- Symba007

Maybe they said no, because they had no (frank)ing clue who Dave Tallon was?

So, HMV is casting a poll about the best british album over the last 60 years in celebration of the Queens jubilee.

I'm going to puke in my mouth if Adele wins over Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd...

Romero was a given. If the Jays can get a consistent #3, they will do some damage. Question is - who?
I have always despised the Yankees since I started watching baseball 40ish years ago.
The Mets were always a competitor in the NL East, so I never liked them either.

Hopefully Drabek or Alvarez can be the # 3.

Could be. I just look at the Nats pitching and I am shocked at where they've progressed to. Their #5 starter is 3-1, with an ERA under 2. It's pretty impressive, and without the pitching being what it is, they may be in last place, because they hit worse than the Bad News Bears. Granted, no Zim and no Morse, and last couple no Laroche, but still.
