Since Gillis decided to offer Luongo that 12+ year contract and since they have won multiple president's trophies because of it - and a trip to game 7 in the finals - how about no one deals with Vancouver for Luongo? They can just sit on that contract! They should take all the risk and reward and it's time for them to pay up for another decade.

Just like Chicago will with Hossa and Philly with Pronger.

Those franchises deserve to get stuck with those contracts. Period.
