That does look like a nice driver....
- Scabeh

It's store used, so guys have swung it and hit a few balls. Damn well worth it, considering the regular price. I still hit the R7. I hit it great, and I'm afraid to change.

Hmmm, yeah... Was looking at the Callaway RAZR Hawk, which is currently on sale at Golf Town close to my place. $298.88

I used to be a Callaway guy. I became a TM guy. To each his own.

I had the R9 before and got the R11 TP series as a Bday gift. Great club, the R9 was a bit easier to hit but definitely more performance out of the R11 (TP shaft).

Marty, you can't go wrong with any of Taylor Made, Callaway and Ping.

I don't have a preferred brand. I guess I'm gonna go try them and see what fits best for me.

I need a firm shaft as I tend to slice way too much otherwise.

Stole home last night. And I like that Hamels admitted he threw at him, and Harper took it in stride.

Your club head speed will decide what kind of shaft you need, go to Golftown, they can tell you if you need regular, stiff or Xstiff.

You slice because you suck. Any and all of them now can be adjusted at the head (tee hee) to help control the slice. And all come with several shafts (tee hee).

Yeah, I do suck. Well, not really...

Everything's fine until I'm on the green. It's all downhill from there

You slice on the green? Hmm...that isn't a shaft issue.

But seriously, the hardest and most important part of this dumb game, is 100 yards and in. And the only way to improve and be consistent at it, is to practice and practice. None of us have the time for that.

I'm not going to dispute the fact that you need a firm shaft (teehee) you are probably better off spending less on a driver and more on a couple of lessons.

Not a shot by the way. I try and take a couple of lessons every couple of years as the bad habits keep coming back.
