Losing Couturier is a tough blow. Good faceoff guy and probably the best defensive forward on the team. I'm not buying this cut business, I just rewound the DVR and he got his leg caught up with Clarkson at no point did Clarkson's skate blade touch his leg that I saw.

ugh

so maybe a knee injury

The boys need to keep up the pressure. Get more shots on Marty and get to the crease.

Call it whatever you want to call it. I call it a bump. I'm aware it wasn't intentional. Still a penalty.

Anyone have a replay?

I said that right after your LBI prediction. It looked like his knee got twisted a bit. I'm thinking it's a sprain.

Well, I preferred Vokoun and he's not even playing now.
- rockychocbill

Not sure why'd you prefer a guy who's 35 to Bryz, who was the Vezina runner-up just a couple years back. He's found his groove down the stretch, and I expect him to be our franchise goalie for the foreseeable future.

should have been a no goal/no penalty result, imo.
- FlyerGuy

i can see an argument for both sides. unintentional and their feet clipped while schenn was turning and looking for the puck. it's marty, who's a legend, and a crying, diving, whiner so there you go.

I see no reason to beleive it's not what they say it is. It's been reported from multiple sources that it's a cut.

Did it look bad? Was that his last shift? I am pretty freaked out by the fact that they announced unavailability so soon. I mean, these are the Flyers we are talking about.
- PT21

Didn't look too bad, but who knows. A minor thing can wreck a knee.

2-3 year deal. It was also before Pronger was injured. Win now mentality and all. I'm not a Bryz hater.

Not that it's the same injury, but I remember the Pominville injury in our series with you guys last year where the play looked rather innocuous and it ended up being a serious injury.
