Like i said on the Devils game blog, my parents were at the game and I got a txt from my mom that said someone through a banana on the ice. I then asked her if it was thrown at simmonds and she said no, nowhere near him.
Just wanna clear that up. Not excusing it, but it doesn't seem to be nearly close to the incident in september

Yea, we're fully capable of beating them and are the more talented club, but it comes down to will and desperation. Those things catapulted us against the Penguins, and the emotion is seriously lacking in this series. That better change and fast or we're going to be golfing sooner than expected.

Flyers clearly have more forward depth but the Devils system is better. Devils only finished one point behind the Flyers.

I don't think that's an accurate representation. The better team in this series is ahead right now, but if the Flyers find their game and skating legs, things will change quickly. It's not about systems because both teams play similar styles. It's about the one on one battles and establishing offensive zone time, and right now the Devils are winning in those departments.

Yup. All true. No idea why the Flyers look so tired though. It's only the 3rd game of the 2nd round and they just had a week off.
