Well I am pretty sure almost any team would jump at the chance of acquiring the Oilers 2013 1st round pick which looks like a lock to be in the top 8. Package that with a mix of PRV,Klefbom,Gagner,Hemsky and some of the many other up and comers in the system and it looks like a pretty descent package to acquire a top two D-man.

EDM can keep drafting these prospects... but until they actually have the balls to do something big to bring in real NHL talent, EDM will go nowhere.

Don't you know that teams value all of the Oilers players as much as their fans do and they can get anything they want for them...Oh and all their prospects are can't miss

Pitlick wasn't a factor in OKC. He is a long way away from being a factor in the NHL. Your two best players at OKC was a cast off from Binghamton (Keller) - 60 miles from where I live (saw him play several times) and Mark Arcobello, who played at Yale and one I saw play six collegiate games live. Hartikanen (sp?) - eh? Not really dominant at OKC. He couldn't make the top three lines in Edmonton? Teubert could have promise if he works on his footwork. Who else? Alex Plante? Then, there is PVR, a kid who looked solid as a rookie and them fell off the map this year so much that half of the year, if not more, was spent in the AHL.

So, please, give me names of guys that can be used in deals to acquire this top two defenseman you really really need.
