I cant decide if I would rather have Buffalo push for a big time trade and land a number one center...or perhaps keep some more assets...trade Roy for picks or a bag of pucks and sign a guy like Chris Kelly and roll a fine group of capable centers.


If Hodgson has potential to be a legit number one guy...a leader..and improves over the off season I feel like it would be counter intuitive to place him behind another guy.

Id like Ruff to give him a shot with the big guns for an extended period of time.

no way, he's old and slow.

i really think one of the two non-corey perry big forwards in anaheim are the sabres best bet if they want to upgrade. a deal with a foundation of vanek for nash with extras on both sides would be a good hockey move too. personally, i'd like to see them get someone else in and keep vanek as a second line role kind of like hossa in chicago. if vanek isn't the number one offensive threat, i think he excels more efficiently and effectively than now. parise, i think is a pipe dream, but who knows. hell all of this is kind of a pipe dream, i'm just thinking of most logical ways to get stars and am hoping the sabres find a way to knock my socks on their @ss with whatever they do.

Ad a Canucks fan I gotta admit gillis is pathetic. The only issue hodgson had was AV and Gillis took AV's side blindly, he should fire the idiot but the coach must have pictures of gillis boinking a sheep or something Good on Roberts , they sure don't make em like that anymore...

AV sounds like a jerk and gillis, well, his comments were out of line, but i don't really know much about him past that. he seems to be doing fairly well putting teams together but he might want to stop listening to AV as much as he does.

hopefully kassian works out for you guys, i'm personally not holding my breath, but if he does, thanks for hodgson anyways, i think he'll do just fine for us.
