UPDATE: 8:25 AMSportnet's Louis Jean is reporting that the Montreal Canadiens will buyout Scott Gomez's contract. Wow. And the hits just keep on coming!
Think anyone grabs him for cheap? I'm sure a team could get him for like 1 and a half million, and at that price, it might be a great low-risk, high-reward signing. He'll probably go to Nashville, Pheonix, or Detroit. |

Its the large majority of Philadelphia sports fans. I went to school there eons ago. Best teams in the world when they win, worst teams when they lose. Its almost as if they never have an opponent--its all based on them. Its bizarre.
Anyway. This IS a series now. I expect the Flyers to rebound with a enormously physical game tomorrow night. Can't expect Giroux and Briere to stay quiet for too long a stretch. Devils need to stick to the basics again, prevent neutral zone turnovers, and stay out of the box. Wouldn't be surprised if Bryz took a night off. |
