how many of the goals did brodeur give up that should have been stopped or were savable compared to bryz? - dmarsden2988
Two each in my opinion. Score should have been 2-1. |

im surprised no one has said tedenby yet
i think zharkov is in the doghouse for whatever reason, he has good defensive instincts and play but has no shot, but im a little surprised, maybe he didnt impress with his play in albany
or boucher, his D is suspect but he has a nice shot but is streaky, he can score goals though
but i believe harrold is playing RW is due to the PP qb he has dont on the 2nd unit, he has played wing before and if larsson struggles he can be moved back to D - dmarsden2988
I mentioned Zharkov because to me it made more sense put him on a 3-4th line and then just promote Bernier or Clarkson to the top two lines. Tedenby simply never did anything worthwhile on any line he's ever played for in the NHL. The kid looks like he has moves, its just never translated into points yet.
I also agree with Pomegrant. If Larsson is looking too out of place, just roll one less forward and put Harrold back on D. |

Score should have been 40-0 Flyers. But apparently they aren't good enough. |

This is probably the most vital game.
It would be huge to go back to the Rock 1-1, with the home-ice advantage, where we should be able to grab one of the two game at least.
Nevertheless, Harrold's a very good player and very good skater. He will fill in on RW better than any of our AHLers probably. It also gives us a fall-back option depending on how Larsson plays, however, I expect a big game from him effort-wise, as he has to have energy that some of the other players may be lacking.
And to FAZOOL, no, no, and no to Boulton or Janssen. Both make our fourth line a liability and neither contribute anything to the game besides fighting, failing to clear the zone, and an inability to create any offensive pressure. |

what are we going to do on the PP now?
Do you think we put a righty like Zidlicky, Harrold, or Zajac in Kovalchuk's spot?
Or just wing it and hope for the best? |

He just wanted to get a closer look. I wouldn't believe my eyes if I saw empty front row seats in the playoffs either. |

Ilya Bryzgalov - He wasn't great in Game 1, and for that reason the Devils almost came away with a victory. If he isn't at least a little better today, I don't see the Flyers winning again. - Todd Cordell
I'd like to see Bryz be better, but to say that the Flyers can't win again if Bryz is merely average implies that you missed the Flyers - Pens series in Round 1. Of course both goalies were quite sketchy for stretches of that series. Chances are that between the Devils D and Marty, Bryz's margin for error is a bit smaller than it was against the Pens, but all Bryz really needs to do is stop the ones he should stop...like that shot from Sykora in game 1. I bid you good luck tonight, at least until your team steps on the ice |

This is going to be a tough game. We are going to have to play tight defensively and hope Bryz isn't good for them. Not confident in the team winning unfortunately, but hopefully they surprise me. |

The Devils don't have any forwards better than d-man Peter Harrold to put in the lineup. Or are they just dressing 7 d in case Larsen struggles? |

Why no confidence? Any team going against Bryz should have some confidence. |
