IF the flyers lose this series what are you going to say?

its the playoffs, no series are a shoo-in

look at the habs a few years ago, look at the kings beating vancouver, phoenix beating chicago and up on nashville, caps beating boston

nothing in the playoffs is easy, and i hope it bites you in the ass

besides IF you make it to the ECF and face the rangers, do you really think you could get past lundqvist?

this series is not a shoo in -- it's going to be a battle and bryz needs to be better if they want to win tonight. I don't want to look ahead because it's only been on game, but no series is a shoo in like you said -- so whoever goes to ECF, will be a good match up.

If no series is a shoo in, then why are you looking past the caps so quickly? Last i checked that series was tied.

holtby has looked pretty impressive so far too, but lundqvist is on another level, this playoffs the best goalies have been quick then between smith and lundqvist then holtby IMO

caps can be a dangerous team too, they are playing solid D and they do have some weapons up front

It's not stupid for me to get cocky I'm not a player. What's stupid is commenting on me for getting sarcastic with another sarcastic poster. It's also not stupid to point out the match ups favor the Flyers, which they do.

Yeah it's tough to call. The east is still very wide open. It's nt smart for the flyers fans to be over confident after beating the pens. 1 game, injury, anything can swing momentum.

As far as next round goes, I think either team will be tough as they both have a lot to prove with teir poor success in the playoffs of late. Plus any team that makes it to the conference finals is dangerous, otherwise they wouldnt be there.

I'm not overly excited to see what Lundqvist can do in a conference final either

Not like anyone didn't see this coming...commies are so soft ...they can't handle playoff hockey...go back home and play in the KHL where you belong.

If the Flyers happen to go to the next round and face Lundqvist I would think the Flyers lose, because they don't match up well with NY.

I think this flyers team is different than the one in the regular season. They are plying better, have more guys contributing. A lot of the regular season was a learning process for the younger players and I think they've taken it to another level. I wouldn't be as confident as I've been so far if we meet the rags next, but I wouldnt toss in the towel either, though Lundqvist in the conference finals would be scary.

and you pretty much kept saying the devils have no chance, when its the playoffs everyone in it still has a chance till the final game is over

well you never gave a real reason yesterday why bryzgalov outplayed brodeur other than saying brodeur lost and gave up 4 compared to bryzgalovs 3

and you pretty much kept saying the devils have no chance, when its the playoffs everyone in it still has a chance till the final game is over

I'm guessing Debeor likes what Harrold brings to the powerplay enough to justify having a seventh defenseman. Also, if Larsson stinks it up he can bench him.

im surprised no one has said tedenby yet

i think zharkov is in the doghouse for whatever reason, he has good defensive instincts and play but has no shot, but im a little surprised, maybe he didnt impress with his play in albany

or boucher, his D is suspect but he has a nice shot but is streaky, he can score goals though

but i believe harrold is playing RW is due to the PP qb he has dont on the 2nd unit, he has played wing before and if larsson struggles he can be moved back to D
