I think he's alot older than we give him credit for. This may sound crazy, but just hear me out. I think he's not who he says he is...or at least not from when he says he's from. I think he's a time traveller. How else can you explain how he always knows the mistakes the Leafs make? But you're wondering how come it's always hindsight with him? Simple. He's going back in time to get the obvious answer, and when he does he writes it down and comes back to warn Leaf management...unfortunately his machine always sends him back the second a trade or pick is made.

That is an interesting idea. Really some food for thought.
Makes me really re-think the whole, It's really Howard berger in disguise thing, and he is lying about his age...

Never. Leaf fans have such lowered expectations that they actually think players like Bozak are good yet he wouldn't make most teams in the league.
Can't blame them, when we miss the playoffs for a decade that tends to happen.
We've actually had players we've put on our first line back in the day that once we finally realized they suck, not one NHL team bothered to pick them up (Johnus Hoglund) Yet on our team, first liner lol
Burke isnt the greatest at signing UFAs, 4/7 are decent and those 4 are getting paid a good decent salary... while the others are getting paid useless top dollars where they produce jack poop. He should stick with trading since he does such a good job at that.
The ONLY UFA'S this summer Burke should make an attempt to get is Suter, Parise, Carle, Langenbrunner.
Via trades Burke can go after:
1) Nash
2) Chris Stewart
3) Jonathen Bernier
4) Stasny
5)Brassard

Why do you keep putting Blacker on the Leafs next year, let alone the 1st pairing?? I love the kid and think he'll be a fine NHL'er, but he's not ready yet.

"Stecks" was acquired in a trade and Mike Brown might have been as well. Nash should be ignored this summer. Team should stick to building via the draft but won't. Same old, same old.

nah, hes no troll....he cant get it together enough when it matters to be a troll. Hes more like an elf. "Looks" like a troll and that he has it together for most of the year, but at the end of the year when it matters he comes up short.

Blacker has been cleared to play, but do they put him in? mess with a winning lineup? - burn
He'll go in for Percy, who was there to replace him in the first place. They may be a winning team right now, but the defense was making a lot of mistakes in the games other than game 3. Percy has looked great at times, but like rookie at others. He'll have plenty of time to develop.
